Information strategies and information problems in relation to the local community.

The report gives an account of the information problems connected with the blasting and construction of the underground arena at Gjøvik. Various methods of public relations and information strategies are discussed and compared with empirical results from a survey and interviews carried out in the community. The study shows that the information problems are complex and tied to political conflicts. Information strategies have to be developed that adjust to the particular needs of target groups.
